Abstrakt: České univerzity dávají stále více důrazu na podporu svých vyučujících v ob- lasti pedagogických kompetencí. S tím souvisí i vznik nové skupiny vzdělavatelů, která se touto oblastí zabývá. Příspěvek představí profesní historie vzdělavatelů VŠ vyučujících v oblasti pedagogických kompetencí. Na základě polostruktu- rovaných rozhovorů se 14 respondenty byly určeny tři osy, pomocí kterých lze jejich profesní historie popsat: vstup do akademického prostředí, profesní oblast a zapojení do vzdělávání učitelů obecně. Tyto výsledky přispějí k diskusi o re- krutování a podpoře této specifické skupiny vzdělavatelů.

Title: EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPERS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND THEIR PROFESSIONAL HISTORIES
Abstract: Czech universities are increasingly emphasizing the support of their educators in developing pedagogical competencies. This trend has led to the emergence of a new group of educators specializing in this field. This paper presents the professional trajectories of Czech educational developers. Based on semi-structured interviews with 14 respondents, three key dimensions were identified to describe their pro- fessional trajectories: entry into academia, original disciplinary background, and engagement in teacher education more broadly. These findings contribute to the discussion on the recruitment and support of this specific group of educators.
