Abstrakt: Motivace je jednou z nejproblematičtějších součástí předmětu psychologického apedagogického výzkumu. Zda-li je či není modifikace motivu možná, závisí na námi užívaném motivačním konstruktu. Ve shodě s kognitivní teorií motivace (e. g.Heckhausen) můžeme být úspěšní při modifikování motivace žáků. Z pohledu McClellanda můžeme úspěšně modifikovat pouze „life management skills“. Pohled prezentovaný v knize Hrabal, Man, Pavelková (1984,1989) bude v některých ohledechrozšířen.

Abstract: Motivation is one of the most problematic parts of the psychological and educational research object. Whether or not modification appears to be possible depends on motive construct you use. According to cognitive theory of motivation (e. g. Heckhausen) wecan be successful in modifying pupils’ motives. From Mc Clelland’s point of view wecan only be successful in modifying “life management skills”.
