Abstrakt: Vznik i další vývoj sítě základních škol je determinován přírodními faktory (např. reliéf), a zejména pak řadou faktorů společenských a kulturních: charakteristika osídlení a zalidnění oblasti, demografický vývoj, požadavky školské politiky.

Title: DYNAMICS OF SPATIAL RELATIONS IN THE PROVISION OF BASIC EDUCATION: CASE OF TWO CZECH RURAL AREAS
Abstract: The creation and further development of the primary school network is determined by natural factors (e.g. relief), and in particular by a number of social and cultural factors: characteristics of the settlement and settlement of the area, demographic development, requirements of school policy. The densities of the school network and of the region are also significantly influenced by economic conditions. The aim of the Poster is to analyse and compare two selected territories in terms of changing the structure of the primary school network and its catchment areas in the dynamics of the last 50 years. The transformations of the territorial structure of the school network, which are a borderline topic of human geography and education policy, are still not constantly monitored here. Poster examines the analysis and comparison of the characteristics of two selected territorial units in the dynamics of their development of the territorial structure of education. Demographic changes, the development of transport and commute possibilities, the concentration of economic functions and other factors have, as a result, determined the phenomena associated with spatial relations in education. Mixed research was used to investigate the territorial structure of primary education. On the basis of the initial statistical analysis of demographic and school-political data, two specific territories have been selected, showing significant dynamics of change (Turnov, Zábřež). In them, data were collected at the next stage in relation to forbearance and commute with the help of historical inventories, map materials and field investigations, including statements by representatives of the monitored municipalities. The results are presented as map outputs. The school network in two selected model areas suggests, despite the influence of identical factors, fundamental differences in its dynamics. While the same number of schools in both territories were reported at the beginning of the 1950s, their number and commitment developed differently. One territory (Turnov) is today mainly served by urban schools in the centre, the other territory (Zábřežsko) has more strongly preserved the original structure of rural schools. The result is the different status of schools and their competition.
