Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je analyzovat výsledky okresního kola Zeměpisné olympiády Česko jako soutěže pro žáky nadané v zeměpise se zaměřením na prostorovou diferenciaci úspěšnosti řešení úloh soutěže. K naplnění cíle byla využita popisná a inferenční statistika celkem 12 035 výsledků soutěžících v letech 2021 a 2022. Výsledky ukázaly, že ač existuje prostorová diferenciace mezi kraji Česka, ve vnitrokrajském srovnání se statisticky významné rozdíly mezi okresy objevují sporadicky.

Title: SPATIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE GEOGRAPHY OLYMPIAD AS A COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS GIFTED IN GEOGRAPHY
Abstract: The aim of the contribution is to analyse the results of the district round of the competition for pupils gifted in geography from 2021 and 2022 with a focus on the spatial differentiation of the success in solving tasks. To fulfil the aim, descriptive and inferential statistics of a total of 12,035 results of competitors in the monitored years were used. The results showed that although there is spatial differentiation between the regions of the Czechia, statistically significant differences between districts appear sporadically in intra-regional comparisons.
