Title: Teacher ’s professional identity: determination and transformation through the lens of qualitative research
Abstract: The main aim of this study is to describe forms of professional identity among school teachers. Professional identity is formed by personal and social identity and changes with teacher’s career path. The identity is also influenced by teacher’s life story. Many authors believe that teacher’s identity consists of multiple identities. One of them divides them into three parts: subject matter expert, pedagogical expert and didactical expert.
