Abstrakt: Studie si klade za cíl posunout poznání o komunikaci v mateřské škole vycházející z potřebných reálných záznamů interakcí mezi dětmi. Zároveň se odklání od obvyklého zájmu o komunikaci mezi dítětem a učitelem. Cílem je odhalit, jak dítě komunikuje s vrstevníkem při volné hře v prostředí mateřské školy.

Title: Child in communication with a peer in free play at kindergarten
Abstract: The presented study is devoted to the field of social communication and it focuses specifically on the communication between preschool children in kindergarten environment. Conceivable communication situations within the preschool children peer group are further limited to the case of their free play, ie without the participation of a teacher or other adult person in the play directed only by the children themselves. Theoretical part summarizes the current knowledge and research direction in the area of communication and play of preschool children. The research is based on the qualitative analysis of the data material obtained through participatory observation of children in kindergarten environment during their play with the set of the original toys. The findings show children’s communication means in relation to peers with a focus on the im-pact of their communication on the ongoing free-play.
