Abstrakt: Využití technologií a metody výuky spojené s řešením problémů v zeměpisu jsou dlouhodobě zkoumanými tématy nejen v Česku (Karvánková, 2017). Toto propojení však u nás není dostatečně zmapováno. Cílem příspěvku je představit dosavadní stav poznání v oblasti propojení výuky s geografickými informačními systémy (GIS) a badatelsky orientované výuce v zeměpisu. Přehledovou studií sleduji cíle, využité metody, výsledky empirických studií a teoretické uchopení tématu. Na základě výsledků přehledové studie bude navrhnut výzkum, který bude součástí disertační práce.

Title: THE USE OF GEOGRAPHIC INFROMATION SYSTEMS IN INQUIRY‑BASED LEARNING IN GEOGRAPHY: LITERATURE REVIEW
Abstract: The use of technologies and teaching methods related to problem ‑solving in geography are long discussed topics not only in the Czech Republic (Karvánková, 2017). The connection is not sufficiently mapped in our country. The aim of the paper is to present the current state of knowledge in the field by linking teach ‑ ing with geographical information systems (GIS) and inquiry ‑based learning in geography teaching. I pursue the aims, the methods used, the results of empirical studies and the theoretical grasp of the topic. Based on the results of the over‑ view study, research will be proposed, which will be a part of the doctoral thesis.
