Abstrakt: Příspěvek se zabývá záměrným „čtením“ krajiny z pohledu geografie. Jedná se o odbornou způsobilost, která dosud není v odborné literatuře dostatečně diskutována nejen z pohledu geografů ale i jiných oborů. Přitom dokázat vyčíst z krajiny určité informace je dovednost potřebná v mnoha životních situacích, a proto je žádoucí, aby byla záměrně procvičována i během výuky geografie na všeobecně vzdělávacích školách.
Jde o prvotní vstup do poměrně složité problematiky a tomu odpovídá i volba hlavního cíle a zvolený způsob jeho řešení. Zaměřili jsme se na specifikaci přístupu při čtení krajiny u různých skupin respondentů, a to formou řízených rozhovorů v několika ohniskových skupinách (absolventi geografie, studenti geografie, VŠ pedagogové, učitelé zeměpisu). Příspěvek obsahuje vybrané výsledky provedené obsahové analýzy ve skupině zaměřené na učitele zeměpisu a skupiny bez geografického zaměření.

Abstract: The text deals with the “reading” the landscape in terms of geography. It is a competence that isn´t adequately discussed in the literature yet, not only in terms of geographers but also in other fields. But in fact the competence to read from landscape specific information is required in many situations, therefore it could be practiced during the teaching of geography in general education schools. This is the initial entry into a relatively complex issue and it corresponds with the choice of research questions and the method of its solution. We focused on the specification of this ability to reading the landscape among geographers, through structured interviews in several focus groups of respondents (graduates geography, geography students, university teachers, teachers of Geography). The paper contains selected results of content analysis in group of geography teacher and the non-geographical group.
