Sekce 1: Teorie a metoda v pedagogice

Title: DIALOGISM AND DIALOGUE APPROACHES TO CLASS INTERACTION RESEARCH
Abstract: The contribution aims to present selected research approaches that are compatible with the dialogue concept of class interaction. First, dialogue (in contrast to monology) is presented as an epistemological framework for interaction research. The selected approaches to class interaction research are then discussed, which are compatible with dialogue. The importance of the contribution is that the current pedagogical research of interaction in the class prefers rather a monological concept of interaction (Thoma, 2014). The interaction in the classroom is understood as the interaction between teachers and pupils in the classroom during teaching. The interaction is approached from the point of view of dialogue: the analytic unit is situated (inter) action, in which higher intersubjectivity is achieved together, which assumes active involvement of participants (see Linell, 1998 for comparison with monology). It follows that the analysis of the interaction in the spirit of dialogue must take into account the interconnections between the talks and the context of the interaction (see also Thoma, 2014). The core of the contribution consists of treatise on selected approaches that are applicable when examining the interaction in the class and which are compatible with dialogue. In particular, it is microethnography (Bloom et al., 2004), ethnography of communication (Gumperz & Hymes, 1986) and ethnomethodological conversational analysis (Ten Have, 2007). These are first briefly characterised and then discussed their specificities, advantages and disadvantages with regard to the research of interaction in the class. The output of the contribution is the presentation of dialogue as a starting point for the research of interaction in the class and three selected approaches, the specific aspects of which (outputs, data collection, the nature of data collected, data analysis procedures), advantages and pitfalls are discussed in the contribution. Finally, dialogue appears to be a supporting starting point for interaction research and that there are a number of approaches to class interaction research in dialogue.
