Abstrakt: Cílem projektu je analyzovat faktory, které ovlivňují prostorovou podobu spádových obvodů základních škol v Česku. Dále pak identifikovat aktéry a jejich pozici v procesu regionalizace školství na lokální úrovni. K naplnění cílů si klademe následující výzkumné otázky: Jakým způsobem jsou formovány spádové obvody základních škol v Česku? Kteří aktéři a jakým způsobem ovlivňují výslednou podobu spádových obvodů? Existuje diferenciace formování těchto obvodů v rámci typologicky odlišných regionů?

Title: Formation of catchment areas of primary schools in typologically different regions
Abstract: Issue of formation of school catchment areas is one of the key topic of the geography of education (Brock 2016; Kučerová 2012). The main goal of the project is to analyse factors influencing spatial form of the school catchment areas in Czechia. Further to identify actors and their position in process of regionalization education at the local level. The project proceeds from analysis of quantitative data at the level of Czechia, through questionnaire survey to qualitative research in selected municipalities and schools. From obtained data and informations is obvious that an attitude to formation and aplication school catchment areas system is considerably diferentiated. This different attitude is influencing especially by the character of school network, form and way of communication between actors, actions of actors, cultural and social capital. Also has been identified specific transformation of the catchment system at the local level and transfer responsiblities to another actor.
