JAK UČITELÉ 1. STUPNĚ ZŠ PRACUJÍ S VÝUKOVÝMI CÍLI

Sekce 4: CÍLE A OBSAH VÝCHOVY A VZDĚLÁVÁNÍ

Title: HOW TEACHERS OF THE 1st STUDENT TEAM WORKS WITH TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Abstract: The contribution is based on empirical research carried out in the project GA CR Formation evaluation through educational goals. The main aim was to find out how teachers work with educational objectives in the social and humanitarian part of the curriculum at 1st grade. The apprenticeship objectives should contribute to the pupil’s understanding of the education process. By spreading more general objectives into more specific sub-objectives and describing the degree of their mastery through criteria, pupils know what they are asked to do, what to do to meet them. (Old, 2006). The training objectives are closely linked to feedback on the level of compliance with criteria, advice and recommendations for improvement. When planning the teaching, the teacher will think more closely about the content, scope and organisation of the teacher and at the same time choose evaluation procedures. It is therefore not only considering what pupils will learn, but also what they should learn (Old, Laufková, et al., 2016, p. 42). In general, it is considered that teaching activities should be planned backwards from learning objectives, but we should have in mind that not all objectives can be specified in advance. The important thing is that both teachers and pupils know where they’re going. The objectives of learning and the criteria for success are not intended to help us complete our activities, but to help us learn (William & Leahy, 2016, p. 25). The aim of the research was to describe the real form of work with educational objectives at 1st degree in the non-scientific component of the first degree, the country’s science and literary education, i.e. in the areas of social and humanities. Methodological procedure is a qualitative, explosive case study of work with educational objectives. At five schools in 10 teachers, we performed observations in teaching (45 lessons), interviews with teachers and pupils. Involved schools are among the common mainstream schools. The main criterion for selecting respondents was their willingness to share their experience and openness to change their concept of assessment. As a rule, the teachers examined do not explicitly set learning objectives. They confuse them with the subject or content of teaching. Pupils usually do not know and do not fully understand the school objectives, making it difficult for them to understand what to do to achieve a successful outcome (Black, William, 2005). It is possible to talk about unanchor in content or about secret knowledge (Janík et al., 2013, p. 236). For some respondents, there is a greater focus on developing key competences at the expense of professional content, and for others it is the opposite.
