Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je představit průběžné výsledky výzkumného šetření, jež dlouhodobě hledá odpověď na otázku, jací jsou současní uchazeči o studium v oborech Učitelství pro mateřské školy a Učitelství pro 1. stupeň základní školy na Pedagogické fakultě Masarykovy univerzity. Specificky jsou analyzována data vztahující se k jejich osobní historii, k jejich aspiraci z hlediska studia a budoucího povolání a také jejich prekoncepty vztahující se k profesi učitelství (k edukačním procesům, aktérům či podmínkám).

Title: Prospective students of primary and preprimary school teacher education: continuous findings
Abstract: The contribution will present findings of a long-term research survey that seeks to uncover some characteristics of prospective students of study programmes Primary school teacher education and Preprimary school teacher education at Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. The aim of the study was to find out what they are like, what their academic and professional dispositions are for the teaching profession and what their preconceptions are about the actors, processes and environment in school education at the beginning of their graduate teacher education. The general framework of the study is the concept of professionalism, professional education, professional development and attracting prospective teachers to the profession. A questionnaire survey was carried out between teacher students in their first semester which included closed as well as open questions concerning their histories and (pre)conceptions of educational phenomena.
