Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je upozornit na nedostečné využívání kazuistik při vysokoškolské přípravě a představit vznikající soubor případových studií určených pro výuku budoucích učitelů. Příspěvek blíže představí jednu z kazuistik z hlediska námětu, struktury a metodických pokynů.

Title: Use of Instructional Case Studies in Teacher Training
Abstract: The paper introduces the instructional case study project. The instructional case study deal with psychological topics focused on frequent issues in educational context. Theoretical background identifies gap in use of instructional case studies in teachers training. Case-based methods to teach psychology are often intended to reflect social constructivist pedagogy in which students are given the means to bridge theorypractice divide. From the basic set of 200 case-oriented theses, we selected 10 significant themes. The selection was based on expert judgment and consultation with experts. Students may learn about various problems that await them in practice and acquire professional way of thinking leading to informed decisions. One typical case study will be presented.
