Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je vysvětlit vztah školního prostředí a YouTube z pohledu tvůrců vzdělávacích videí. Vztah tvůrců vzdělávacích videí ke škole bude popsán z hlediska jejich školní zkušenosti, vztahu jejich tvorby ke školnímu vzdělávání, žákům a studentům jako cílové skupině. V rámci kontextu je cílem představit YouTube jako platformu pro vzdělávání.

Title: School and YouTube in the perspective of educational video creators
Abstract: This study aims to show educational video creators’ perspectives on the relationship between YouTube and school. The main data source are interviews with the YouTubers (Czech and Slovak) who create educational videos. For the triangulation, the data from their YouTube channels (videos and additional commentary feeds) are used. The qualitative analysis was based on a grounded theory approach and situational maps. To triangulate different data, Netnographic methodology was used, so that data published on teacher’s YouTube channels could be examined. All the data sources were analyzed by using Atlas.ti software. As a result, we can claim that even though YouTube is connected to informal education, school has great influence there. YouTube video creators have school experience and it is visible in their videos, also the videos are created for school pupils and teachers, therefore, they are adjusted to the school environment.
