Abstrakt: Příspěvek představuje dílčí výsledky disertační práce, zaměřující se na problematiku sociálního začleňování jedinců, kteří vyrůstají v dětských domovech a chystají se je, za účelem osamostatnění, opustit. Představena bude kvalitativní část, jejíž hlavní výzkumná otázka zní: Jak hodnotí informanti svou připravenost na odchod z DD v konfrontaci s reálnou zkušeností samostatného života? Sběr dat proběhl narativními rozhovory se 6 informanty před odchodem ze zařízení a následně 4–12 měsíců po něm.

Title: THE PREPARATION OF INDIVIDUALS FOR LEAVING CHILDREN’S HOMES AND INTEGRATING INTO SOCIETY
Abstract: The paper presents partial results of a dissertation, focusing on the issue of social inclusion of individuals who grew up in children’s homes and are preparing to leave them, in order to become independent. The qualitative part will be presented, the main research question of which is: How do informants evaluate their readiness to leave DD when confronted with the real experience of independent living? Data collection took place through narrative interviews with 6 informants, first before leaving the facility and subsequently 4–12 months after their departure.
