Abstrakt: Příspěvek se zaměřuje na studenty, kteří neuspěli u maturitní zkoušky, což ovlivňuje jejich další studijní i profesní směřování. V rámci výzkumu bylo realizováno 92 rozhovorů se 46 respondenty, maturanty z let 2018–2020. Identifikovány byly oblasti, ve kterých žáci pociťovali po selhání u zkoušky absenci podpory. Na základě empirických dat můžeme vymezit podporu informační, poradenskou a sociální. Představena také budou opatření k podpoře neúspěšných studentů.

Title: ABSENCE OF INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT AND THE IMPACT OF MATURITA EXAM FAILURE ON PUPIL’S LIFE COURSES
Abstract: The paper focuses on students who have failed the Matura exam. This failure could affect their career and professional future. A total of 92 interviews were conducted with 46 respondents – examinees between 2018 and 2020. The research identifies three areas in which students felt the lack of support after failing the school-leaving examination: information support, guidance, and social support. Finally, measures for supporting failed pupils will be introduced.
