Title: CHANGES IN HIGH SCHOOL TRAINING

Abstract: The main aim of this work is to identify the concept of academic university teaching. Research is focused on capturing the views of leading experts in the field of andragogics in the Czech Republic on the concept of teaching quality, as well as the disruptive factors that affected it in the last two decades. After 1989, there have been major changes in the concept of adult education and education in the former socialist countries of Central Europe. Three concepts of adult education gradually emerged. One is based on the philosophy of education and pedagogical sciences (Beneš, Kopecký, 2004), the other links knowledge from the philosophy of education, social pedagogy, sociology of education and cultural anthropology in andragogy (Šimek 1998; Simek, 2004). The third approach was based on empirical research into adult education since 2000 (Rabusic Rabusic, 2006). In addition to the theoretical and empirical focus, it is also necessary to see that it is a field taught in Czech universities (Šimek, 1998). Teaching is therefore an important part of the existence of the field, because even through teaching the field is communicated and future experts are developed at least to the same extent that this takes place through the implementation of research, scientific and research publications (Wallerstein et al., 1996). Empirical research focuses on the everyday life of academics and relies on the interracial of individuals (Koehler Riesman, 2008). Stories can capture the development of the concept of teaching in the life of academics (Kelchtermans, Vandenberg, 1993). Stories with adult education leaders focus on a double view of teaching: the ways in which academics teach (in all phases and aspects of this process), as well as the way in which they „built“ the field of andragogics as a scientific field through their teaching. The leaders of the field were selected on the basis of citation analysis and the method of snowball. The outputs answer the following questions: How your teaching at Czech universities changed after 1989. What surprised you? What changes did you see in the requirements of academics at universities? etc. The results of the initial analyses of interviews will be presented at the conference.
