Abstrakt: Příspěvek se zabývá rolí zástupců ředitelů českých škol a tím pnsptva k obohacení výzkumně opomíjené oblasti. V příspěvku jsou uvedeny základní informace o zástupcích ředitelů českých škol. Hlavním cílem je charakterizovat podíl zástupců ředitelů na vedení českých škol. Popsat jaké každodenní otázky zástupce ředitele české školy musí řešit, a jak si dělí rozhodování, činnosti, odpovědnost s ředitelem a dalšími aktéry školy. V české škole probíhají kromě vzdělávacích aktivit i procesy další, subsidiární (řízení finančních toků, rozvoj lidských zdrojů apod.), bez nichž by nebylo možné naplňovat výchovně vzdělávací funkce školy. Jejich řízení spadá jen do kompetence pracovníků působících na vedoucí pozici, v českém prostředí se jedná o pozice ředitele a zástupce ředitele. Je zřejmé, že ředitel nemůže vše zvládat sám, roste proto význam pozice zástupce ředitele. Příspěvek je metodologicky založen na kvalitativně orientovaném výzkumu. Použita je metoda shadowingu, hloubkových rozhovorů a analýzy relevantních školních dokumentů (organizační řád školy, náplně práce zástupců ředitelů škol apod.). Příspěvek informuje o výsledcích výzkumu týkající se role zástupce ředitele v české škole, který právě probíhá. Výzkum poskytne informace především o profesních činnostech vykonávaných zástupcem ředitele a jeho vlivu na vedení české školy.

Title: DEPUTY DIRECTOR AND HIS / HER SHARE IN THE CZECH SCHOOL MANAGEMENT
Abstract: The contribution deals with the role of representatives of the directors of Czech schools and thus the contribution to the enrichment of the research neglected area. The article contains basic information about representatives of directors of Czech schools. The main objective is to characterise the share of directors‘ representatives in the management of Czech schools. Describe what everyday questions the Deputy Director of the Czech School has to address and how he divides decisions, activities, responsibilities with the Director and other actors of the school. In addition to educational activities, there are other processes (financial flow management, human resources development, etc.), without which the educational functions of the school could not be fulfilled. Their management falls only within the competence of the management staff, in the Czech environment the position of director and deputy director. It is clear that the Director cannot handle everything on his own, so the importance of the position of Deputy Director is growing. The contribution is methodologically based on qualitative research. The method of shadowing, in-depth interviews and analysis of relevant school documents (organisational rules of the school, the work of representatives of school directors, etc.) is used. The article informs about the results of the research concerning the role of deputy director at the Czech school, which is currently under way. Research will provide information in particular on the professional activities carried out by the Deputy Director and his influence on the management of the Czech school.
