Autoři: Veronika Laufková, Karel Starý

Abstrakt: Příspěvek se zabývá charakterem písemné evaluace výuky poskytované studujícími učitelství na Pedagogické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy. Cílem výzkumu je analyzovat charakter evaluačních výpovědí, identifikovat tematizované aspekty výuky, porovnat rozdíly mezi studijními programy a popsat vývoj kvality poskytované zpětné vazby v časovém horizontu pěti let. Datový korpus tvoří přibližně 5000 anonymizovaných komentářů analyzovaných metodou kvalitativní obsahové analýzy. Předběžná zjištění ukazují, že studující nejčastěji tematizují komunikaci vyučujících, srozumitelnost požadavků a spravedlnost hodnocení. Komentáře obsahují vedle hodnoticích výroků také prvky formativní zpětné vazby, jejichž výskyt v čase narůstá. Studie poukazuje na potenciál studentské evaluace jako zdroje informací podporujících profesní reflexi vyučujících a rozvoj kvality vysokoškolské výuky.

Klíčová slova: studentská evaluace výuky, zpětná vazba, formativní hodnocení, kvalitativní obsahová analýza, příprava učitelů

Title: WRITTEN STUDENT FEEDBACK IN TEACHING EVALUATION: A QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF STUDENT COMMENTS AT THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION, CHARLES UNIVERSITY

Abstract: This paper analyses the character of written student evaluations of teaching produced by student teachers at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. The study aims to analyse the character of evaluative statements, identify the aspects of teaching most frequently mentioned in student evaluations, examine differences across study programmes, and describe changes in the quality of student feedback over a five-year period. The dataset consists of approximately 5,000 anonymised comments collected from the faculty’s teaching evaluation system and analysed using qualitative content analysis. Preliminary findings suggest that students most often comment on the quality of teacher–student communication, the clarity of course requirements, and perceived fairness of assessment. Alongside predominantly evaluative language, a subset of comments includes features of formative feedback, particularly where students describe concrete effects of teaching on their learning. The proportion of descriptively oriented feedback appears to increase over time. The paper discusses the potential of student evaluation data to inform teachers’ professional reflection and to support systematic enhancement of teaching quality in higher education.
