Během aktivit s tabletem u nich byly sledovány individuální formy komunikace vycházející z konceptu bazální stimulace dle Dr. Andrease Fröhlicha, a to v oblasti dýchání, napnutí či uvolnění svalů, pohybu hlavy a končetin a sekrece. Dotyk aktivizuje a podněcuje, ale také zklidňuje, poskytuje pocit bezpečí a odbourává strach (Hájková, 2009). Dotykem displeje tabletu, který vyvolá jakýkoliv bazální vjem (taktilní vibraci, zvukový signál, optický efekt apod.) lze stimulovat jedince s těžkým nebo kombinovaným postižením často i multisenzoriálně, tedy prostřednictvím několika smyslů současně. Dotyk (a gesto) jsou zároveň významnými prvky při osvojování komplexní gramotnosti a některé práce pak přímo dokládají efektivitu využití dotykových technologií při edukačním rozvoji jedinců se závažným a kombinovaným postižením (Flewitt a kol., 2014). Navíc lze v prostředí dnešního světa tvrdit, že využití mobilních dotykových technologií také umožňuje u těžce postižených (a často imobilních) osob podstatně lépe naplňovat lidskoprávní požadavek usnadňování přístupu ke kontaktu s okolním prostředím, a to třeba i prostřednictvím virtuálního kanálu (Ellis a Kent, 2011). Žáci s těžkým kombinovaným postižením opakovaně během individuální výuky realizovali s učitelem několik vybraných aktivit s tabletem a podrobně byly sledovány jejich reakce v průběhu těchto aktivit.

Title: DIGITAL TABLET AND EQUIVALENT COMBINATED TABLETS

Abstract: The aim of the contribution is the presentation of research that was carried out in the Czech Republic in the centre of the specialized work with children with severe combined disabilities. In 2016 and 2017, the iPad tablet was systematically used in teaching these pupils. The contribution will present research results for two pupils with severe combined disabilities who participated in the research. Individual forms of communication based on the concept of basal stimulation according to Dr. Andreas Fröhlich, in the area of breathing, tension or relaxation of muscles, head and limb movement and secretion, were monitored during the tablet activities. Touch activates and encourages, but also soothes, provides a sense of security and breaks down fear (Hájková, 2009). By touching the tablet display, which causes any basal perception (tactical vibration, sound signal, optical effect, etc.), it is possible to stimulate individuals with severe or combined disabilities often also multisensory, i.e. through several senses simultaneously. The touch (and gesture) are also important elements in the acquisition of complex literacy and some work directly illustrates the effectiveness of the use of touch technologies in the educational development of individuals with severe and combined disabilities (Flewitt et al., 2014). In addition, it can be argued in the world today that the use of mobile touch technologies also makes it much easier for severely disabled (and often immobile) persons to fulfil the human rights requirement to facilitate access to the environment, including through a virtual channel (Ellis and Kent, 2011). Students with severe combined disabilities have repeatedly performed several selected activities with the tablet during individual teaching and their reactions during these activities have been closely monitored. Individual lessons were recorded on video and then analysed in collaboration with the teacher, assistant teacher, special educator and specialist in the use of technology in education. Pupils‘ reactions were also evaluated in the context of the observed interaction between pupils before and after the lesson including information from parents about the course of the previous night. The video analysis confirmed significant changes in the interaction towards the position of pleasure, especially in these parametrechmovements of the head, eye movements, palm clamping, slight opening of the mouth, change in the tension of the limbs, change in the depth of the breath. The results pointed to the significant impact of work on applications based on the principle of „cause and effect“ and also highlighted the influence of obscuring the room on the concentration of the pupil. The current research shows that the tablet is an effective tool for activities and services to strengthen the human dignity of severely affected pupils.
