Title: Two-year experience in evaluating the best educational research outputs in the Czech Republic
Abstract: The aim is to describe two-year experience with the functioning of the new Methodology 17+ of the Government Council for Research, Development and Innovation in Education. The challenges faced by the application of the new 17 + Methodology in Education are the following: the number and quality of outputs sent by individual universities, the number and specialization of evaluators, the willingness of evaluators to evaluate publications at all, adherence to deadlines by evaluators, different understanding of the two basic criteria evaluation of publications (scientific contribution of the publication; social relevance of the publication). There are attempts by some universities to send out outputs that have nothing to do with scientific publications, or have been published in so-called predator magazines.
