Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je představit proces přijímacího řízení na Pedagogickou fakultu UK, v rámci toho popsat společné znaky a také specifika jednotlivých oborů. Dále budou prezentována data nashromážděná od studentů oboru Český jazyk, Anglický jazyk a Speciální pedagogika se všemi kombinacemi a budou představeny výsledky analýzy predikční validity uskutečněné na tomto vzorku.

Title: Predictive validity of state secondary school leaving examination and entrance exams at the Faculty of Education
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the process of entrance exams at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. It also focuses on the predictive validity of the state secondary school-leaving exam and entrance exams to the faculty. Predictive validity was calculated using the data collected from students of the Czech language and literature, English language and literature and Special Education. Predictive validity is determined on the basis of the calculation of Pearson correlation coefficient, which expresses the correlation between two variables. As for the correlation coefficient, significant correlation was found between the state secondary school-leaving exam and the entrance test for Czech and medium correlation between the entrance test and first year grade point average. Medium correlation was also found between state secondary school-leaving exam and first year grade point average of students of Special Education. At present other data are being analyzed.
