Korthagen a Vasalos, 2005).

Title: GROUPS DETERMINANTS COMMUNICATION IN GROUP REFLEXI PRAXES FOR TEACHERS
Abstract: The aim of the study is to explore the group reflection of teachers from the point of view of communication, specifically based on the so-called non-linguistic features of communication and physiology of individual participants. Reflexi practice is considered a key part of teaching (cf. Korthagen and Vasalos, 2005). In this paper we deal with reflexes of practice in a small group of students. Group reflection is one of the ways in which learning from experience can be effectively supported. (Bolinger & Stanton, 2014). The form of group reflection will be examined from the perspective of so-called non-linguistic social signals such as voice tone, voice speed, etc. Non-linguistic social signals can be seen as hidden determinants of communication, because they significantly unconsciously influence the course and outcome of social interaction (Pentland & Heibeck, 2008) and can, for example, be predicted by the productivity of the group (Olguín & Pentland, 2010). „Due to the attention to patterns of how signals manifest within the social network, we can extract from them the tactile knowledge that goes across all members of the group.“ (Pentland & Heibeck, 2008, p. xii) It is a field experiment that examines the form of group reflection communication by: 1) sociometric devices that measure non-linguistic signals and 2) SenseWear devices that measure skin galvanic resistance, which is an indicator of students‘ emotional involvement in group reflection. For data processing we use standard statistical procedures for processing physiological data. The result will be a description of the form of group reflection from the point of view of non-linguistic social signals of communication, we will present the characteristics of this communication, such as: the dominance of the speech of individual participants, the total amount of time of speech of actors, the mutual influence of the speed of individual speakers, etc. We will also present how these signals relate to other measured data in the seminar, i.e. the emotional involvement of students and teachers during group reflection.
