Title: Using narratives for learning
Abstract: Paper deals with research study of teaching with using narrative texts in lower secondary school. Teoretical framework is given by Kintschs´learning from text and Lakoffs´concept od metaphor. Teachers in civics, history, literature and other subjects usually work with narratives to gain noncognitive, afective goals. In our multiple case study we recorded and analysed situations of learning with narrative in school and interviews with teachers.
