Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je popsat výsledky kvalitativního výzkumného šetření u začínajících učitelů českého jazyka na druhém stupni základní školy. Výzkum se zabýval tématem autority začínajících učitelů, konkrétně, jaké zdroje své vlastní autority vnímají. Cílem šetření bylo odpovědět na výzkumnou otázku: „Jak začínající učitelé vnímají zdroje své autority?“. Výsledky výzkumného šetření jsou součástí rozsáhlejších výsledků výzkumu autority u začínajících učitelů v diplomové práci autora příspěvku (Vydra, 2019).

Title: Sources of authority of beginning teachers
Abstract: Text describes how beginning teachers perceive the sources of their own authority. These are results of qualitative research. Repeated in-depth non-structured interviews were conducted with beginning teachers. The interviews were analysed through thematic analysis (Braun & Clark, 2006). Beginning teachers describes discipline gained in their relationship with their parents as a source of their authority. They demand this discipline from pupils and base their authority on it then. The source of authority is described as a three-level model. The first level contains motivation to the relationship rules. Relationship rules are described in the second level. The third level describes how beginning teachers experience negotiating their authority with pupils. Experiencing influences the result of which is authority being acquired and lost again.
