Abstrakt: Cílem představované studie je ukázat, jak učitelé jazyků na Univerzitě obrany a v jazykových kurzech pro zaměstnance Armády ČR nahlížejí na zavedení testování jazyků podle STANAG 6001 na počítači, a zjistit, zda se tato změna podle výpovědí učitelů promítá do jejich způsobu vyučování angličtiny, případně v kterých oblastech a jak.

Title: Changes in English language teaching after the introduction of STANAG 6001 computer-delivered language testing
Abstract: The presented study shows how teachers perceive the introduction of computer-delivered language testing in accordance with STANAG 6001 and what washback effect of the format change they are aware of in terms of teaching. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Purposeful (maximum variation) sampling was used to select respondents. The respondents were 4 University of Defence English teachers and 4 teachers in general English army courses whose students were supposed to take the exam. Open coding as well as thematic coding were used to analyse the data. The findings show that teachers perceive the introduction of computer-delivered testing as a logical and useful step. The research also uncovered several areas in which washback effect of the format change was reported by the teachers.
