Abstrakt: Cílem studie je definovat základní ITC koncepty, které mohou lidem pomoci nebýt pouhými uživateli počítačových technologií, ale rozumět tomu, jak fungují, a poradit si s nimi v nových situacích. Příkladem konceptů v této studii je například: ukládání digitálních informací, přenos dat po internetu nebo virtuální propojení počítačových zařízení (dále koncepty).

Title: What ITC knowledge helps us not to be just users? Focused on low-educated adults
Abstract: More than 20% of European population has primary education only (Eurostat, 2017). Nearly 60% of these people use the internet at least once a week (Eurostat, 2016). There is very limited knowledge about how these adults are prepared to live in increasingly digitalized society, but there are all reasons to believe that they know little about digital world (e.g., Eurostat, 2019; Turow et al., 2015). The aim of the study is to define basic I TC concepts that can help people not only to be computer technology users, but understand how they work and deal with them in new situations. The study uses an in-depth interview (N ~ 20) to define concepts, and verifies their representativeness using a questionnaire (N ~ 400).
