Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je popsat narativní identitu rodičů žáků soukromé alternativní školy, která se odráží ve volbě alternativního vzdělávacího proudu. Realizovali jsme hloubkové rozhovory s osmi rodiči vybrané školy (5 matek, 3 otcové). Výsledky výzkumu ukazují narativně konstruovanou identitu rodičů, která je charakteristická vývojem v čase a je naplňována jazykovými prostředky a pozicováním rodičů vůči vzdělávacímu systému, vybrané škole a vlastnímu rodičovskému sebepojetí.

Title: NARRATIVE IDENTITY OF PRIVATE ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL PARENTS
Abstract: The aim of the paper is to describe the narrative identity of the parents of private alternative school pupils, which is itself reflected in the choice of a private alternative educational stream. We conducted in-depth interviews with nine parents from a selected school (5 mothers, 3 fathers). The results of the research show a narratively constructed identity among the parents which is characterized by developments over time and is achieved through language, as well as the parents’ position in relation to the education system, the selected school, and their own parental self-conception.
